Job Description
The Healthcare Industrial Hygienist provides support for various Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences projects by engaging in technical and discipline-related field activities in their assigned region, and nationally on occasion.
Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Science preferred
Prior work experience in Indoor Air Quality testing preferred, though not required for this role.
OSHA Health and Safety Certifications. Training will be provided by the company - successful completion required.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong technical writing skills preferred.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to perform exceptionally under fast-paced conditions.
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines both internally and externally.
Willingness to work weekend and evenings as needed
Ability/willingness for frequent regional travel, with occasional overnight, extended stay and/or national travel possible.
Possession of a valid driver's license is required for this role and have reliable transportation.
Required to have annual influenzas vaccination to work on healthcare sites.
Physical Requirements
Walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain, climbing of ladders to access and evaluate roofing conditions and roof mounted equipment.
Carry field testing equipment (up to 30 pounds) onto job sites with regularity
Participation in VERTEX medical monitoring program.
