Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery and facility equipment. Your work will ensure minimal downtime and support smooth operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Maintenance: Prepare, set up, and adjust machinery for scheduled production runs. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose issues and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on packaging and production machines, including emergency and unscheduled repairs.
- Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and work orders to effectively identify problems and implement solutions.
- Tool & Equipment Operation: Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Safely operate and repair forklifts as required.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety regulations, maintaining clean and orderly work areas at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a maintenance mechanic or technician role within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven ability in electrical troubleshooting (experience with 480V three-phase systems and machine controls). Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Process Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing methods and process improvement initiatives.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a commitment to safety and continuous learning.
