    Targeted HR Consulting is proud to partner with a respected manufacturing and production company in Salisbury, NC, to find an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and technical background who enjoys solving problems, optimizing systems, and keeping operations running at peak performance.

    About the Role:

    As the Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate efficiently and safely. From preventive maintenance and diagnostics to troubleshooting and repair, you’ll play a key part in production continuity and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and carry out preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment and facilities

    • Monitor and maintain schedules using Smart Maintenance systems

    • Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems

    • Troubleshoot machinery issues and implement solutions to avoid downtime

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and inventory

    • Manage parts ordering, equipment maintenance budgets, and vendor relationships

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire code, and environmental safety standards

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency

    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contractors

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance or machine repair experience in a production environment

    • Solid understanding of mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, and HVAC systems

    • Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to use hand tools, air tools, and overhead hoists safely and effectively

    • Knowledge of safety programs and regulations

    • Experience with maintenance planning and smart maintenance/CMMS systems

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
