    4 DAY WORKWEEK!

    $18.00-$20.00 TO START

    WE WILL TRAIN UP!

    • We do not need a candidate who necessarily has prior “maintenance” experience, but need to have strong general mechanical knowledge and a desire to learn Industrial Maintenance. 
    • This position will start with:
      • General handyman: hang lights, fix shelves, build racks, plumbing, basic masonry, drywall, painting, electrical outlets etc.
      • Machine maintenance: doing repairs, part changes, machine install or rebuild assistance, preventive maintenance
      • Future training to be a full-fledged mechanical maintenance tech and an electrical maintenance tech which is our more skilled technician position.
      • This is a “can-do” position and will be directed under the maintenance supervisor.
      • Someone who is willing to help/do any task will do well in this position.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR A SKILLED MECHANICAL MAINTENECE TECH: [UP TO $25.00 TO START] 

     Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

     Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments when required. ? Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

    Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

     Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.

     Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.

     Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.

     Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

     Fabricates basic repair parts by using machine shop or welding instrumentation and equipment.

     Mechanical Drawing proficiency.

    High mechanical aptitude in metal forming equipment.
