Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team in Louisville, KY, 40223. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of industrial surfaces. If you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Experience with an airless sprayer and water-based paint is desired. If you don't have that specific experience you are still encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.
• Apply paint using various techniques, including spray, brush, and roller.
• Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Salary info:

$22 - $26 / hr
