    Here's who we are looking for:

    Early Childhood Teacher Sylvania Children’s Center has two well-respected childcare center locations, both located in Toledo, Ohio. Both centers have maintained a 5 star Step Up to Quality rating as well as NAEYC accreditation throughout the years. We pride ourselves in our dedication to provide excellence in early childhood education, engaging learning opportunities and memorable experiences. We are looking for highly motivated Lead Infant teachers to join us and be part of a great team.

    This position requires an Associates Degree in ECE or higher.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the center's principles and philosophy

    Create positive learning environments with resources based on child-directed learning

    Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior

    Build good, open communication with children, families and staff

    Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior using portfolios

    Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

    Help develop teaching goals for the center and its teachers

    You will need:

    An approved early childhood teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

    Experience working in a childcare / preschool setting

    Exceptional organizational and teamwork skills

    Sound written and verbal communication skills

    A good level of computer literacy
