Position Requirements:

Candidates must at least 18 years of age

CPR & First Aide Certification -or willing to obtain

Must have either

CDA (Child Development Associate) Certificate OR 90 hour Certificate (preferred)

45 Hour Child Development Certificate accepted

Job Responsibilities:

Partner with Co-Teachers in working with infants-Toddlers on activities designed to promote physical activity, social/emotional development, self-confidence, and creativity in an environment made for fun, exploration, and discovery.

Help maintain the clean, warm, welcoming environments that we pride ourselves on

Partner with Co-Teachers in developing schedules and routines that ensure adequate activities/events, rest, social, creative, and imaginative play.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.

Understand and abide by the health, safety and supervision standards required by MSDE OCC

Assist with other duties that incorporate the vision and mission that A Giants Early Learning Center created

Be willing to sing loud and laugh a lot while encouraging others to do the same children, staff and parents at times

Be available to bandage boo-boos, wipe noses and give hugs when needed.

Required Skills:

Have a warm, welcoming personality

Experience in caring for Children in an Educational capacity

The ability to read, write and communicate with parents and Team mate
