We believe in providing a child-centered, play and discovery-based curriculum.     We are currently seeking a Full-Time Infant Teacher join our team! Applicants must be dedicated, warm, passionate, nurturing, and cooperative. We offer comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

    Job Duties include but are not limited to:

    Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans using the philosophy at Open Space

    Meeting the individual needs of every child by interacting with them to encourage and support play, exploration, and learning

    Collaborating with families to create inclusive and culturally relevant classroom and curriculum

    Providing a fun, welcoming, warm and safe classroom environment

    Completing assessments quarterly for each child and documenting and maintaining children's portfolios.

    Professional daily interactions and active communication with children, co-workers, and parents.

    Meeting and following requirements of all licensing agencies

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED for Assistant Teachers Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area for Lead Teachers with 6 credits in Early Childhood

    CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification

    Proof of TB Test, and TDAP, 2 Doses of MMR and immunizations

    Proof of Covid vaccination

    Physical

    Obtain new Food Handlers Training Certificate

    1+ years of experience in an early childhood environment

    Must meet and follow all additional City and State licensing requirements
