This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Provide attentive care to toddlers and infants, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct.
Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity among children.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
Previous experience in toddler care, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
Experience working with special education needs is a plus but not required.
A background in childcare or related fields will be beneficial for this role.
