Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicate Head Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, loving and has a passion for working with children!
Responsibilities:
Implement engaging lesson plan activities from our curriculum that promote growth and development in accordance with PA standards and developmentally appropriate practices.
Provide care for infants, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Prepare any necessary learning materials.
Foster a positive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
Take attendance
Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Document students’ learning progress
Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
Qualifications:
A degree in ECE or a related field preferred or Infant/Toddler CDA Credential.
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous experience in infant care, or babysitting is highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years working in childcare (required)
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Certification in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
