As an Infant Toddler Teacher at Primrose School of Evergreen, you will provide a safe and loving environment for babies ranging in age from six weeks to 24 months old. With a captivating and provided curriculum of music, puppetry and storytelling you will provide opportunities for our youngest children to safely discover and explore their expanding world.

Job Responsibilities:
Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children in a teacher
Teachers should be able to assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
The teacher provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children
The teacher ensures that all class bulletin boards are current and provides the parents with an overview of the material taught in class
Assists and coordinates snacks, meals, naptime, and bathroom activities
Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds
Observe all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children
Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times
Plans with Education Coach and implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials
Plans with the Director all required parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children.
MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, Curriculum), including 3 units in Infant/Toddler required.
Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
Must meet required state background check
Able to work on iPad to log children's daily activities
