As a child’s first teacher, you will hold a very dear place in a parent’s heart forever! As an Infant Teacher at the award-winning Primrose School of Evergreen, San Jose, CA you’ll help care for little ones who range in age from six weeks to one year old. They are eager to learn about and explore their world, and through singing, dancing, and storytelling you will provide opportunities for our youngest children to safely discover and explore their expanding world.

Qualifications:
MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, two Curriculum classes), along with 3 units in Infant/Toddler required.
Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children
Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
Must meet required state background check
Must be able to work on an iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents.
Responsibilities:
Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learning
Provides an safe, attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children
Plan with the Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials
Complete, supervise and monitor continual evaluation of each child’s developmental needs
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities.
