    Job Description

    We are seeking to fill a new opportunity within a start-up division under the ForTec Medical, Inc. umbrella of services. Our extensive training program allows our technicians to deliver distinctive customer service to healthcare facilities by providing a variety of disinfection services in critical care areas.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Review customer needs and take necessary steps to deliver successful disinfection services
    • Load, and set up equipment within customer facilities; perform pre-service checklist
    • Calibrate and monitor equipment effectively and associated devices during each event
    • Monitor environmental conditions during disinfection cycles; suspends operation whenever controls for potential hazards are inadequate
    • Ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies before and after each event
    • Follow all requirements to prepare each room to be disinfected with the appropriate protective equipment and signage
    • Ensure all supplies and equipment are available prior to commencing service
    • Prepare and complete paperwork timely and accurately
    • Demonstrate flexibility and be available for work when notified of an event
    • Keep credentialing requirements consistently up to date and consistent with client standards, including all immunizations and vaccinations
    • Record and submit accurate time worked and expense reports

    Skills Required:

    • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good teamwork with peers, management, sales team to achieve company goals
    • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, representing a favorable image of the company at all times
    • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
    • Basic computer skills

    Key Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor degrees preferred
    • Prior laboratory experience or associated coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, or research preferred
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule during first or second shifts, for example 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Late afternoon through the evening.
    • Occasional night, weekend, overnight or holiday coverage is possible
    • Ability to routinely push, pull, or manipulate up to and over 50 pounds of medical equipment
    • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering environments where hydrogen peroxide concentrations are higher than OSHA permissible exposure limits
    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
