STGi is seeking an Infectious Disease physician to perform medical review work and provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor (DOL) for a variety of workers’ compensation cases. Each physician will receive work on a case by case basis and will be compensated for their work at an hourly rate for time spent performing the reviews. Estimated hours per month may vary. Work will be performed remotely (outside of DOL facilities) at FOH offices or from the physician’s home/office.

Physician Requirements:

Physicians eligible to perform the work must maintain the following credentials and meet the following requirements specified by DOL and FOH:

1. Current, unrestricted license in any state.
2. American Board of Infectious Disease certification
3. Must have a minimum of two years experience clinical practice.
4. Must have a minimum of 240 hrs. of direct patient care annually
5. Must possess understanding of Federal safety and health regulations, and experience reviewing worker’s compensation cases. A broad knowledge of requirements of federal workers compensation is desired.

Required Experience

• Skill in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and basic warehouse procedures.
• Skill in completing manual and computerized forms and shipping documents regarding stock description, units, weight, quantity and labeling requirements.
• Requires basic arithmetic and standard formulas to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
• Job requires the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
