Influencer Marketing Broker Manager for a Fashion E-Commerce Company
Our client is a global leader in quick-to-market, cutting-edge fashion and remains a fast-growing e-commerce retailer with one of the world’s leading lifestyle brands and over 20 million followers. They are seeking an experienced and driven Influencer Marketing Broker Manager to oversee a team of brokers and lead influencer marketing efforts across multiple product divisions. The Broker Manager will be responsible for team leadership, influencer acquisition, pricing negotiations, deal structuring, and performance reporting.
This is an in-person role in Beverly Hills, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of brokers to ensure their success in influencer scouting, deal structuring, and client relationships
- Set clear goals, provide regular performance feedback, and foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Work closely with senior leadership team to create and execute hiring, management, and compensation strategy for a growing and high-performing team
- Oversee efforts to scout and acquire influencers across all brand divisions
- Create and analyze reports to monitor roster growth versus decline and identifying trends to ensure the team’s results align effectively with our strategic goals.
- Ensure alignment of influencer acquisitions with the brand’s values and the needs of clients, crafting acquisition strategies for diverse demographics and product categories
- Lead strategic pricing discussions and negotiations to secure cost-effective partnerships and achieve optimal ROI
- Ensure brokers utilize aggressive pricing tactics to maximize budgets while maintaining quality partnerships
- Review, approve, and refine influencer deal structures, proposals, and contracts developed by brokers, ensuring agreements adhere to company policies, legal standards, and brand guidelines
- Stay on top of emerging social media trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and ensure the team effectively leverages platform-specific features and strategies in influencer partnerships
- Act as the escalation point for resolving complex issues and work to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity
- Proven success in team management and growing high-performance teams
- Strong knowledge of social media influencers and content creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; generally up-to-date with pop culture
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage and execute influencer partnerships
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers, clients, and agency partners
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously
- A proactive problem-solver with creative thinking and strong decision-making abilities
- Experience using talent scouting software, CRMs, and other organizational tools to streamline processes and track campaign progress
- Ability to use data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve processes, and present actionable recommendations to senior management
- Proven experience building out and mentoring a team of employees who are fairly early in their careers, with the ability to work with all personality types
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $80-100k plus bonus potential
