Job Description
In partnership with the executive team, the FAN EXPO SHOW MANAGER, will be responsible for building and executing a collaborative vision for key Fan Expo HQ events as assigned.
FAN EXPO SHOW MANAGER primary responsibilities include building a world class event program and product, driving and monitoring ticket sales, exhibitor sales and overall operational readiness. This position will be responsible for growing events in their assigned markets, ensuring the smooth flow of all marketing materials, programming, staffing, supplier contracts and other logistics related to the successful delivery and evolution of the event.

Qualifications
College or University degree in event management, business management or project management
5+ years of operational and/ or event management experience. Consumer event management experience considered an asset
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong time management skills and adaptable to constantly changing priorities
Ability to work under pressure, balance workload and meet tight deadlines
Critical thinker who can make suggestions for improving event and process
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience delivering events within Unionized facilities and union labor management considered an asset
Strong negotiation skills and tactics
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and team player
Travel 4-5 events per year within Canada and US. Valid passport is mandatory
Experience with Illustrator and floor planning considered an asset
Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms considered an asset
The pay range for this position is $59,500 - $70,000 depending on experience.
