We are working with a top law firm in Midtown Atlanta to fill a need for an Information Governance Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the firm's information governance initiatives and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding of attorneys and staff, including managing client file transfers
- Oversee offsite file destruction projects and adherence to retention policies
- Prepare client matter files for deletion/destruction per the firm's retention schedule
- Manage information barriers, legal holds, preservation orders, and other compliance tasks
- Conduct regular audits of physical record inventories
- Maintain the firm's records management system with accurate data entry
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in records management or a related field (preferably in a law firm environment)
- Knowledge of records procedures, retention principles, and best practices
- Proficient with records/document management software like iManage and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
