    Job Description

    The Information Technology Technician provides support for the Information Technology systems of NATIVE HEALTH. The IT Technician provides help desk services to NATIVE HEALTH staff, provides system maintenance, and trains staff on software. The IT Tech oversees the purchase of new hardware, software, and peripherals for all programs of NATIVE HEALTH. The IT Technician is responsible for additional duties assigned in programs that may not relate directly to IT. The IT Technician will provide Computer Software deployment and support to the end users.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    1. Diagnose, support, and resolve technical issues for employees. Problems may be with network connectivity, computer software/hardware, division office networks, internet, or new computer technology.
    2. Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution.
    3. Deliver, tag, set up and assist in the configuration of end-user equipment, including desktop/laptop hardware, software, peripherals and desk phone, cell phones, tablets.
    4. Troubleshot and resolve end-user network or local printer problems and application client software, e-mail, network domain access.
    5. Coordinate timely repair of computer equipment, cell phones and peripheral equipment covered by third-party vendors.
    6. Perform minor hardware repair/upgrades for computer equipment and peripherals.
    7. Consult with managers, departments, and employees to clarify application and folder access, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of setup required.
    8. Setup end user profiles for networking, email & various client server applications utilized by the company.
    9. Setup & Support cell phones, hotspots, and tablet devices.
    10. Track inventory for computers, peripherals & mobile devices.
    11. Support integrated systems, security cameras, alarm systems, and VPN.
    12. Prioritize and respond to employee technical needs through ConnectWise ticketing program in a timely manner.
    13. Prepare documentation/guides and reports.
    14. Employees shall perform all duties and responsibilities according to NATIVE HEALTH's Core Values.
    15. Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures.
    16. Supports organization as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Associate degree in computer science or fours year of experience related to this position.
    2. Experience in working with Microsoft Office 365 Admin Console and Microsoft network software and operating system software.
    3. Experience in working with people in a friendly congenial manner.

    Standard Employment Requirements

    1. Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
    2. Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH.
    3. Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
    4. Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.
    5. Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update.
    6. Must obtain a First Aid/CPR Card within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain a valid CPR Card during employment.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    1. Ability to follow NATIVE HEALTH confidentiality and Privacy Act standards.
    2. Must be dependable and be able to prioritize tasks to complete projects by due dates.
    3. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to respond to emails and telephone calls in a timely manner.
    4. Must have good analytical skills.
    5. Ability to have patience when working with employees and customers.
    6. Knowledge of computer information systems, local area networks, and broadband connectivity.
    7. Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, and VoIP.
    8. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and network operating systems.
    9. Knowledge of Cisco DUO and other remote user applications and security systems.
    10. Knowledge of Ticketing, Patch Management, End Point systems
    11. Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software.
    12. Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating system.
    13. SharePoint experience.
    14. Knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device management.
    15. Ability to problem-solve in a timely manner.
    16. The ability to perform other specific duties or assignments as directed by the Manager.
    17. Ability to type 45 wpm.
    18. Ability to regularly sit and/or stand for lengthy amounts of time, bending and reaching as necessary.
    19. Ability to use fingers/hands to manipulate computers, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
    20. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
