Duties:
The Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) will help coordinate and administer all engineering project activities, targeting a successful execution of the project. Responsibilities include coordination and tracking of activities and ordering/tracking components to ensure that the needs of the engineering teams are met through the complete project cycle.
o Communicate project status to vendor regarding PO/invoice, material requirement, and delivery schedule
o Work with Operations, TPM/Eng teams to define and collaborate on internal & external SoW, SOP, RFI & RFQ
o Coordinate local SMT hardware builds: work with engineers & SMT vendors to manage day to day build activities
o Document & communicate build progress at the Contract Manufacturer (CM)
o Lead “Clear to Build” (CTB) based on engineering build matrix - ensure on-time delivery of vendor components or finish goods, monitor and optimize logistic flows, communicate any risks
o Manage requests and allocations of prototypes for the project team
o Create Purchase Requisitions (PR), maintain invoice tracking and Goods Receipts
o Create and lead Bill of Materials (BOM), component part numbers, and release related user documentation
o Collaborate with the Agile PDM team to create and process Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders and Deviations
o Work closely with engineers to maintain comprehensive EE, Mechanical & System BOM release for builds
o Support coordination of OK2TOOL & OK2FAB sign-off process
Skills:
• Proficiency with project management tools to manage tasks, monitor and track project progress, and identify any issues
• Proficiency in Agile and Oracle tool for BOM, PO, ECO/MCO management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and self-driven
• Ability to work with cross functional teams, be a team player
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, multi-tasker
• Strong English writing ability.
