    Job Description

    As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our applications and services. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our DevOps environment. You will participate in a variety of cross-functional team projects, including the planning, design, and implementation of new/updates to existing Cloud components and CI/CD pipelines.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    Engineering and Administration

    • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure DevOps.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.
    • Ensure all environments are kept current and consistent to increase reliability and quality of continuous integration and deployment efforts.
    • Leverage the latest cloud technologies and services to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Provide necessary documentation for all applications and systems.
    • Provide off-hours support, as needed, to support updates and address technical issues.

    Maintenance & Projects

    • Monitor Cloud Services, Systems, Network to ensure optimal performance.

    • Applying security patches and updates to cloud infrastructure to protect against vulnerabilities

    • Event Response – respond to and report systems failures and security events

    • Off Hours response and support for High severity incidents

    • Maintain technical documentation for solutions and standard operating procedures such that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.

    • Recommend and perform DevOps configuration adjustments to solve problems.

    • Manage multifaceted and technically sophisticated projects and on-going operations.

    • Meet project and task deadlines.

    Service/System Improvements

    • Identify and bring forward improvement ideas
    • Continually look to improve and refine DevOps environment delivered to the business, globally.
    • Maintain knowledge of emerging technology.
    • Help define and meet SLA requirements for DevOps and IaC environment.
    • Contribute deep technical skills, and industry experience and best practices to the rest of the team, driving change.

    • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with people at all organizational levels.
    • Work in a team environment making positive contributions to the organization.
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff members, customers, and vendors.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Education & Qualifications:_

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related/applicable field(s), or relevant experience in lieu of degree
    • At least 5 Years of experience as a Cloud engineer in a public cloud, including hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
    • At least 3 years DevOps engineering using several applicable and transferrable technologies
    • Experience deploying Infrastructure as code, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
    • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills
    • Advanced computer skills, good written and oral communication skills
    • The ability to travel as required (<10%)

    The US national base salary range for this position is $102,987-$126,159. This position is also eligible for a bonus. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.

    Work Environment

    Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs. Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
