PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads, manages, and supports a team of service technicians.
- Responsible for the timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of product service to our customers.
- Performs field management and assistance for all field technicians, service calls to include but not limited to problem solving, technical diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, installation, and removal of various office equipment.
- Manages and maintains field service technician territory assignments, service and parts manuals, tools, supplies and equipment, continuance training and copier certifications to better improve service performance.
- Works to efficiently manage, resolve and close service calls. Monitor, track and report as needed of each service technician’s daily calls status.
- Guide and support sales representatives during sales process and resolution of technical issues.
- Performs repair and / or assists with service calls.
- Provides timely response to customer inquiries and complaints and ensures compliance with agreed upon customer requirements.
- Perform client visits to maintain ongoing positive business relationship.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE WITH RICOH / LEXMARK CERTIFICATIONS ARE MUST FOR THIS POSITION
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A COPIER SERVICE TECHNICIAN OR FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
- Preferred associate degree, high school required
- Provide support and perform diagnostics to determine what repairs are required and parts to be ordered
- Perform service/customer calls as necessary when backing up field technician
- Ability to communicate and report information within various departments
- Must be able to carry up to 100 lbs
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in US
- Must pass background check
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- IT background especially with set up of devices on a network
- RICOH COPIER EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED (ALL MODELS)
- Ability to lead, motivate, train, problem solve and maintain customer relationships
- Possess forward-thinking and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work in a team environment or individually with little direct supervision
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate a sense of leadership in negotiations and critical thinking
