    Job description

    The MARC Group is actively seeking seasoned sales professionals to join our dynamic team in the role of Advertising Sales Representative. This role demands a proactive approach to driving new advertising and marketing sales revenue. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. As an integral part of our team, the Advertising Sales Representative will engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and executive leadership.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Strategically identify and secure advertising partnerships with leading brand performance based advertisers to foster long term success for the company

    Develop and grow repeat business from existing advertising customers, partners and agencies

    Understand client needs, anticipate future goals and help determine ideal solutions

    Manage expectations at all levels and demonstrate a proactive and consultative approach in addressing client needs

    Effectively communicate and partner with all internal staff members as a team to meet and exceed advertisers' needs and beat the competition

    Advocate for The MARC Group’s ad platform products, media solutions and creative services

    Day-to-Day

    Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, cold calling and closing sales to achieve your weekly sales targets

    Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; and recommending new opportunities

    Work with an upbeat, outgoing sales team and learn from our best sales leaders

    Take part in team meetings daily to stay connected with broader sales team

    Skills & Requirements:

    1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably, inside sales

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Confidence, perseverance and integrity. This role is primarily a cold calling sales role, best suited for someone that is self motivated and driven with a positive attitude

    Highly organized

    Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals

    Fast learner and passion for sales

    Sports minded, competitive, outgoing, and energetic individual

    Must be fluent in the English language with no limitation

    Strong phone presence

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment that requires adaptability and on the spot problem solving

    Ability to multi-task prioritize, and manage time effectively under minimal supervision

    Base pay starting at $40k plus commission with a sliding commission scale
