    Job Description

    Assist in driving sales key account and territory revenue through inside sales and marketing efforts while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Use all principles of good customer service and sales skills, including selling and servicing via telephone. Support the outside sales team in all sales efforts and work with all internal departments to resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

    • Always represents the company in a positive and professional manner.

    • Build loyal customer relationships via telephone and email

    • Present key selling points/features and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure account and territory activities are achieved.

    • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, and provide fast, accurate responses to all inquiries

    • Work as part of larger team to ensure on time delivery goals are met, customer orders are tracked, process expedites, reschedules return material authorization processing, and maintain clear communication with customer orders

    • Responsible for contract review to ensure all customer requirements are met

    • Process orders, with attention to detail.

    • Ensure outstanding issues are escalated according to the process implemented by organization

    • Meet the sales goals for response time on data entry of orders and estimates

    • Refer qualified leads to appropriate outside sales team, or distribution channel that do not meet inside sales criteria

    • Track all relevant sales activity using CRM system (including calls, prospect, pipeline, account notes, etc.)

    • Work closely with outside sales team to determine a strategic approach to win business and set specific goals for inside representative

    • Arrange and participate in conference calls and customer visits at corporate facility on behalf of customer. Meetings may include members from engineering to senior management.

    • Support Global Account Manager on sales forecast for designated territory

    • Close business to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives

    • Provide post sales follow-up to enhance business relationships to create and leverage additional opportunities

    • Adhere to the appropriate departmental sales processes, procedures, and policies

    • Refer requests for technical assistance to the appropriate department or sister company

    • Provide backup support to other Account Managers as needed.

    • Produce reports as needed and required

    • Identify areas of improvement within customer service and territory processes and assist in implementing solutions.

    • Other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2-5 years insides sales experience, or key account customer service experience, in the Connector Industry preferred.
    • High school degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Excellent Time Management, Verbal Communication, and Interpersonal Skills.
    • Customer satisfaction focused and strong relationship building skills.
    • High energy, drive, and sense of responsibility.

    Customer focused, trusting work relationships, personal integrity, effective listener, involves the proper people in decision making, initiative, strong time management, solving customer problems, understand the business, managing own performance, technical/functional proficiency, demonstrates high physical energy.

    Travel up to 10%.
