We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and drive revenue growth through inbound and outbound sales efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to generate new business leads and sales and take care of existing customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for originating new orders, communicating with customers about their orders, and working with previous customers for new orders. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer facing skills engaging and managing national accounts and buying groups, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies and goals with senior leadership to achieve revenue targets and drive growth
Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and sales appointments, and following up with customers about their order status
Attend trade shows as a part of the sales origination team as needed
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
Working with corporate clients’ online stores where their employees can buy their corporate materials
Assist senior leadership by staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats
Develop and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and make informed decisions
Implement and utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports
Communicating marketing strategies, sales trends, and new products with external account managers to drive sales growth
Work with senior leadership and sales representatives to determine an annual trade show calendar with appropriate coverage
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work onsite at our office location five days / week
A high school diploma or equivalent
A bachelor's or associate's degree in marketing, business, or a related field may be advantageous
Experience in administration and high-volume office work may be advantageous
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus
Computer literacy, IT skills, and typing skills
An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
