    Inside Sales/Customer Service for Building Material Wholesaler

    Manufacturers Reserve Supply is a wholesale distributor of high-end building supplies. The customer service position will work with lumber yards and big box stores directly. As a wholesaler we do not sell directly to the public. You get to know the buyers from our client base and create great client relationships. There is no cold calling. Just an understanding of the product and great customer service.

    Our Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative team become experts in decking, siding and building materials. A background in the construction field or understanding of the basic building process is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.

    This role will be responsible for processing orders, providing support on products and services and excellent customer service.

    This is an on-site position. Hours Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30pm (no weekends).

    Job Responsibilities:

    · Handle incoming calls, process orders and provide quotes in a timely and accurate manner

    · Assisting customers in developing solutions to meet their needs.

    · Determining customer’s needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.

    · Establish a rapport with new customers and nurturing relationships with long term customers.

    · Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries

    · Provide support and maintain up to date knowledge on products and services

    · Generate additional business through cross-selling, up-selling, sales add-on’s and various promotional give campaigns

    · Provide support to and partner with Outside Sales Team and other internal departments as required to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

    Quoting and order processing through our web portal.

    Advancement plan to become knowledge specialist for products with pay increases and bonuses.

    Job Qualifications:

    · Experience within customer service or call center environment.

    · Experience in sales or inside sales.

    · Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)

    · Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a pleasant and professional phone demeanor

    · Must possess a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

    · Must be a team player, self-motivated and be able to collaborate effectively with other departments

    Must be familiar with Microsoft Office

    Bilingual a plus

    · **Prior experience within the building materials is a plus, but is not required

    · Pre-Employment requirements include: assessment test, drug test, background check and reference check
