Summary
MIM International is an Import-Export-Distribution company in the industrial PVF with more than 30 yrs experience. We currently have an immediate opening to add a Bilingual Inside Sales to our sales team (English Spanish) .
This position will be responsible for the full sales cycle of our products with a high focus on industrial valve. Fittings and pipe products will be also managed as a complementary product line. Candidates must have proven sales and managed accounts with industrial customers.
Short to mid-term professional growing possibilities are highly possible in accordance with the expected company growth.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am -6pm. Some weekends might be required during inventory audits and cycle counts.
Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
This position works closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement and other areas to ensure correct and timely processing of all customer requests, including generating distributor/OEM quotations, order processing, shipping and returns as required.
Responsible for the compete sales cycle, from customers’ requests for quotation, to expediting product delivery, in efforts to help grow market share and company products recognition.
Produce quotations, Sales Orders, Changes and Returns, with ERP Software and deliver the document flow to customers and other company areas.
Maintains customer database in CRM system with detailed notes to track information on account events, meetings, calls and follow ups, orders status, and other relevant information.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company's available product lines, sales territories, product applications, and applicable pricing structures.
Helps customers determine the best solution for their needs.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, emails, and video conferences. Prospect qualification preparation includes company background research, new vendor onboarding process research and other pertinent information to reach quality leads and convert it into valuable customers.
Operate and communicate across local and global shared services and work in a teamwork environment with outside sales staff all related company stakeholders.
Obtain price quotes from procurement dpt. and vendors for resale to customers and provide price quotes for customers for non-stock products.
Review inventory pricing, availability, and special requirements with Procurement and Operations area.
Track sales orders and ensure timely delivery, overseeing warehouse and shipping schedules.
Communicate issues to customers and other team members within the group (on-time delivery, backorders, etc.)
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Support management in fulfillment of their objectives including tracking and maintaining metrics in the company ERP system. Prepare Sales reports, including cost analyses and Valuate customer performance to report trends to upper management.
Support physical inventory tasks as scheduled.
Resolve quality or delivery issues with customers and company stakeholders. Working with warehouse staff to assure accurate deliveries related to the sales orders in process and collaborate to identify discrepancies.
Maintain updated records of Customers, purchased products, terms and pricing in ERP system.
Assist Accounts Receivable in resolving customers’ invoicing discrepancies.
Coordinate events, sales meetings, and training sessions for customers and sales team.
Performs other related duties as requested.

Work environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally occurs in an office space. Some of the work may eventually be required in the warehouse which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel, including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.

Requirements:
3+ years minimum relevant work experience in PVF products inside sales. A knowledge of technical details in valves, fittings and piping is preferred while Valve general knowledge is mandatory. Alternatively, 5+years of experience in a sales role identifying and addressing customer needs within relevant industry.
Knowledge of customer sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, qualifying and liaising with customers).
Understanding of common business practices relating to negotiating pricing and terms, sale taxes and payment for products and services.
Capable of reading technical catalogs and specs sheets related to PVF material.
The position requires good client service skills to deal with the customer base requirements, maintaining cordial working relationships with other company stakeholders and support management.
Proficient in MS Office 365 suite. SharePoint and Excel skills are mandatory. Hands on experience in ERP system is a Plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong written, verbal communication, as well as effective presentation skills are required.
Organizational and leadership abilities.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a multiple location/countries team.
Analytical skills, with the ability to create sales and basic financial reports to conduct customer performance and cost analyses.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Texas Driving License and Reliable transportation is required.
Bilingual English Spanish Language is mandatory.

Education, experience, and qualifications.
Requires an associate’s degree in business, or Mechanical engineering or related field bachelor’s degree, with three years minimum experience.
