Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our team! As a Sales and Customer Service Associate, you will assist customers with their window/door needs and ensure an excellent ordering experience.
Essential Functions
Seek out new business opportunities and find new clients for potential sales.
Enhance relationships with new and existing key customers.
Meet walk-in customers for products demonstration and sales presentations to ensure successful communication with customers for any projects.
Follow up with developed business leads and schedule sales meetings and discuss potential projects.
Assist walk-in customers to fulfill order forms and help place orders.
Communicate with customers concisely, accurately, and completely document order information and status through phone/text/fax or email.
Perform assigned duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Keep supervisor and manager updated and informed of any problems, and ensure accurate communication and update order production status with office team and production team as necessary.
On-going Tasks and Responsibilities
Receive, process and verify the accuracy of quotes and orders from customers utilizing Order Entry System.
Maintain regular communications with customers to ensure that all their requirements are being met.
Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicate changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
Ensure and provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
Receive inquiries from customers looking for updates or to address queries or complaints.
Accesses the company’s internal systems to obtain and extract order information and provide customer service management with information as requested.
Participates and provides expertise as a member of the customer service team. Develop and recommend opportunities for improvement to existing procedures/processes to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the customer service department as a whole.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (and Mandarin preferred)
Ability to use problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and planning when required
AutoCAD or Photoshop skills preferred
Track record of consistent attendance and timeliness
Able to work 40 hours per week
