Position Overview: As an Inside Sales + Support Specialist at WC Carpenter, LLC, you will represent our company for sales, support and assist showroom customers. You will provide expert product guidance, assist with orders, and ensure a seamless, luxury experience at every touchpoint. Your role balances both sales and support responsibilities, creating immersive customer experience. This position will require field time with job site visits in customer homes.
Key Responsibilities ● Build Trust & Relationships: Foster strong, trust-based connections with interior designers, clients, and vendor partners, enhancing their experience and driving loyalty. ● Exemplify Excellence: Uphold WC Carpenter’s reputation and impeccable service throughout the customer journey.
Sales ● Product Expert: Provide detailed product knowledge to guide customers in making informed design decisions. ● Help customers build and refine selections, ensuring accuracy and offering product recommendations. ● Customer Interaction: Manage professional communication via phone, email, and online channels, delivering timely solutions and personalized support. ● Collaborate with sales staff: Work with internal teammates to create seamless and tailored customer experiences. ● Stay Current on Products: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, including new releases and discontinued items. ● Schedule on site appointments to measure the customer’s space, drawing it out and determining the material quantity that will be needed to complete the job to create a custom proposal.
Support ● Customer Management & Support: Manage customer relationships in person, email, and phone. Handle inquiries, complaints, returns, and troubleshooting with empathy and efficiency. ● Service Excellence: Ensure consistent, high-quality customer interactions by meeting service standards. ● Administration: Follow up on outstanding orders, pull product drops, put new products out, keeps showroom clean, prepares bids and quotes, places customer orders, stays up to date on new product releases and supports outside sales force.
Qualifications and Skills: ● Strong communication skills, a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail ● Ability to manage multiple communication channels efficiently ● Proficiency in MS Office, sketch up or drawing program (preferred) ● Experience in luxury goods, interior design, or a high-end retail environment (preferred)
