Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Clean Energy Sales Representative serves as a direct point of contact for individual consumers and businesses within our Energy Division. We will ensure all customers receive an above-average level of service, respond to inquiries about products, and is responsible for accurate data entry including billing and pricing, to meet the cooperative’s mission and goals which will ultimately result in outstanding customer service. As an authorized seller for Inspire Clean Energy, we are excited to join their mission and provide consumers with access to 100% clean energy for their homes
OCCUPATION SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Ability to interact with customers in a consistently positive and professional manner
- Managing high volume customer interactions in a timely manner
- Identifying customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and providing solutions
- Implement marketing strategies and sales techniques
- Handle all paperwork associated with customer transactions
- Develop product knowledge to answer customer inquiries
- Sell Inspire Authorized Products to fulfill the satisfaction of their client base
- Work in a well-organized manner
- Support other positions as needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable with in-person sales
- Must be comfortable working face to face with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have good analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of the clean energy industry and products a plus
THIS POSITION INVOLVES DIRECT SALES, MARKETING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMMISSION PAY
