Job Description
Summary: Responsible for installing, servicing, and integrating healthcare communication systems. The Field Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and communicating solutions in a timely manner to meet objectives. Required to meet all administrative requirements including but not limited to recording job details and hours. Responsible for assisting in the improvement of our quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and safety initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Field Service Technician is to perform installation, integration, maintenance, and repairs to company-supported Products, a wide variety of telecommunications systems, equipment, cabling, and software. The Field Technician will also perform other related work as required. This position requires 45% out-of-town and overnight travel and is based on project location.
Job Duties Include:
I. Pre-installation preparation
II. Installation: run cable, headend/server, terminate cable, install devices, test systems and devices, etc.
III. Post installation: customer training, customer sign-off, account for and document the return of any remaining job equipment to the office, assist in Bill of Materials Reconciliation, attend Job Review when necessary
IV. Service Calls: perform tests and inspections on existing clients
