    Role Overview
    The Installation technician will install, service, and troubleshoot electronic security systems for residential, commercial, and enterprise clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, test, and maintain low voltage communication systems.
    • Work with systems including intrusion, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, intercoms, and integrated solutions.
    • Perform cable installation, raceway setup, and electrical device terminations in new and existing buildings across various sectors (residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial).
    • Provide end-user training and participate in on-call emergency service rotation.
    • Ensure quality standards and document all work and corrective actions clearly.

    Qualifications

    • 1-3+ years experience in system installation and configuration.
    • Hands-on experience with a range of PASS Security products, including:
      • Access Control: Software House, RS2, Alarm.com, Salto, Avigilon, AMAG
      • CCTV: March Networks, Avigilon, OpenEye, AXIS
      • Intrusion: DMP, DSC, Qolsys, Alarm.com, Arteco
      • Fire Alarm: Potter, Bongo, Napco
      • Intercom: Aiphone, Zenitel/Stentofon
      • Misc: Inovonics, Evolv/Avigilon Weapons Detection
    • Basic networking knowledge and strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, relay logic, and supervised circuits.
    • NICET I & II certification (or within 12 months of hire).
    • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Technically curious with a strong work ethic and career focus.
    • 2+ years structured cabling experience following BICSI and NEC standards.
    • Ability to read technical diagrams and project documentation.

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, use ladders, hand tools, and operate work vehicles (trucks/vans/trailers).
