    The Opportunity:

    The Instructional Coach is responsible for supporting educators in implementing educational technology solutions effectively in their classrooms. This individual works directly with teachers and school leaders to enhance instructional practices, improve student engagement, and maximize learning outcomes through the effective use of educational technology. The role focuses on building strong partnerships with educators, providing ongoing professional development, and ensuring successful technology integration in the classroom.

    Essential Duties:

    1. Educational Partnership and Support:

    a. Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned teachers and school administrators.

    b. Collaborate with educators to understand their instructional goals, challenges, and opportunities.

    c. Provide regular coaching sessions and support to help teachers integrate educational technology effectively.

    d. Gather feedback from educators and communicate needs or concerns to improve services and support.

    e. Attend educational conferences and support on-site professional development sessions.

    f. Assist in documenting success stories and best practices for sharing across the education community.

    2. Professional Development:

    a. Design and deliver high-quality professional development sessions for educators.

    b. Create support materials and resources for teacher implementation.

    c. Model effective teaching strategies and technology integration techniques.

    d. Provide ongoing mentorship to teachers in implementing new instructional approaches.

    3. Implementation Support:

    a. Guide educators through the implementation of educational technology solutions.

    b. Help teachers develop effective strategies for using technology to enhance student learning.

    c. Support teachers in analyzing student data to inform instructional decisions.

    d. Assist in creating implementation plans that align with school and district goals.

    4. Program Success:

    a. Monitor implementation progress and provide support to ensure program success.

    b. Track usage data and implementation metrics to identify areas needing additional support.

    c. Document and share best practices and success stories from implementing schools.

    d. Collaborate with the support team to resolve technical issues and enhance user experience.

    5. Communication and Reporting:

    a. Maintain regular communication with assigned schools and teachers.

    b. Document coaching sessions and track progress toward implementation goals.

    c. Prepare implementation progress reports for school leaders and internal teams.

    d. Share insights and feedback from the field to inform product improvements.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in K-12 education.

    • Experience in instructional coaching, professional development, or teacher training preferred.

    • Strong understanding of pedagogical best practices and instructional design principles.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

    • Strong data analysis skills and ability to use data to inform instructional decisions.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

    • Proficiency with educational technology platforms and learning management systems.

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with educators.

    • Must have a valid driver's license.

    • Reliable transportation is required; travel required.

    • Competent in educational best practices, coaching techniques, and technology integration.

    • Employment contingent upon a clear fingerprint and criminal history record.

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field required.

    • Master's degree preferred but not required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Remote worker

    • In-office meetings when necessary

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position requiring regular travel to assigned schools during normal school hours, with occasional evening or weekend work for special events or professional development sessions.

    Travel:

    Regular travel to assigned schools is required, with occasional overnight stays for distant locations or educational conferences.
