Job Summary

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join our team! As an Instructional Designer, you will be creating new and exciting educational programs, lessons, and curricula on a variety of subjects. You will also be working closely with the rest of the team to ensure that the needs of staff and clients are met and that all programs are aligned with our mission and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of educational principles, excellent communication skills, and previous experience designing programs and curricula.

Responsibilities

Using up-to-date educational best practices, create new and engaging curriculum based on our organizational mission and guidelines

Work closely with staff and clients alike to make adjustments to programs and existing learning curriculum

Take high-level or complex ideas and break them down into educational opportunities that everyone can understand

Stay abreast of new and emerging trends in education

Qualifications

Previous experience in the education field desired

A successful portfolio of educational programs designed or modified is desired

Extensive knowledge of education across many different areas, such as math, science, and social studies

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills
