Position: Instructional System Designer
Location: Washington, DC
Position type: Hybrid
Clearance: Top Secret or higher
Responsibilities:
Provide learning solutions including the design and development of curriculum for courses, workshops, seminars, and performance support tools.
Provide a collaborative team of learning experts to represent different offices within the NGC that integrate stakeholder learning needs and develop and maintain learning solutions that help promulgate GEOINT doctrine and concepts at campuses.
Provide additional support as related to externally developed curriculum and training events from industry, academia, and government.
Requirements:
5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience building advanced courses for adult learners, specifically intelligence officers
Experience and deep knowledge of critical thinking, specifically the three main Dr. Paul and Dr. Elder’s models (Elements of Thought, Intellectual Standards, and Intellectual Traits)
Understanding of the history of logic and argumentation (from its origins in antiquity to the present)
Experience designing knowledge testing activities • Understanding of and experience with the ODNI ICDs
Understanding or experience with debate (the use of solid reasoning and compelling evidence, persuasive storytelling and skillful presentation, eloquent and civil communication)
Understanding of the history of intelligence successes and failures (American and otherwise)
