    Job Summary:

    Collect job task data from agents through interviews, questionnaires, surveys, job description, focus groups and other sources Develop appropriate instruments to collect job task data and developing lists of the job tasks required for job performance Define job tasks in sufficient detail so learning objectives can be derived Analyze existing training programs and identify gaps and/or redundancies in current training Participate in meetings with the customer and conduct briefings as necessary Draft presentation materials, draft and review other documentation, correspond with customer and other contractor support staff Assist customer in reviewing, analyzing, and developing training curriculum

    Job Description:

    Following the ADDIE model, the instructional designers may be tasked with designing a course or program. Instructional designers analyze training needs, conduct job task analyses, create meaningful learning objectives, map learning objectives to job tasks, select delivery systems, develop effective learning strategies, and conduct level three levels of evaluations; Level #1 - course evaluation provided while the training is in session ( good, bad, or indifferent); Level#2 - assessment of knowledge as compared to the course objective; Level #3 - assessment of the job skills application on the job. Furthermore, instructional designers may help ensure alignment between identified job tasks, learning objectives, and assessment items. Instructional designers may also participate in the curriculum/test validation process.

    Education:

    Bachelor's (Preferred but not required)

    Experience:

    Instructional Design: 10 years (Preferred) or !5 years (without BS degree)

    ADDIE model: 5 years (Preferred)
