    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Workable Solutions Public Safety Training Academy is seeking a qualified professional to support us in our Academy Training courses in Montgomery, AL. We are looking for an action-oriented and confident Instructor to join Workable Solutions. The right candidate will have an instinctive ability to communicate and a commitment to excellence. Workable Solutions Public Safety Training Academy Instructors uses their experience and qualifications to teach the requirements of; the Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB), the Alabama Private Investigation Board (APIB), the Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board (APBBB) and the Alabama Peace Officer Standards and Training (APOST) CEU's.

    Looking for Instructors that posses all or at least 3* of the following Certifications:

    CT1 License *

    CT2 License*

    Private investigator Instructor

    APOST Instructor*

    FBI Firearms Instructor*

    Active Shooter Instructor

    ASP Baton Instructor

    ASP Handcuffing Instructor

    OC Instructor

    AXON Taser Instructor

    Defensive Tactics Instructor

    CPR|AED|Basic First Aid Instructor

    BLS CPR PRO Instructor

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    H.S. Diploma or GED|Associates|Bachelor's|Master's|PHD Degree

    5 Years of formal experience as an instructor in the Security/Law Enforcement Industry teaching firearms; defensive tactics/measures; use of force

    Military or LEO experience in a combat MOS or Special Operations

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and solve problems with a sense of urgency

    Proficient in Microsoft Suites - Power Point

    Must have or be able to obtain the following licenses: CT1, CT2, Private Investigator Instructor

    Must have or be able to obtain Non-Lethal Instructor Certifications

    Must be able to teach classes during the week and/or weekends

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop a lesson plan and schedule for courses

    Prepares PowerPoints and student packets for classes

    Instruct and motivates new candidates

    Ensures student safety during dry-fire and live-fire training venues

    Promotes and advertise class schedule and helps the sales team to maximize each class

    Must comply with all Federal; State; and/or local requirements
