    We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Instructors to join our team! As a instructor, your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our students. As a Stemtree instructor, you’ll inspire young minds, teach cutting-edge science and technology concepts, and foster a love for learning. From robotics to coding, you’ll guide students on an exciting journey through the world of STEM. The ideal candidate loves inspiring young innovators and keeps a positive attitude!

    Responsibilities:

    Fostering a passion for STEM in students is a key aspect of this position. Lead and Instruct STEM Classes: Stemtree instructors lead and teach STEM classes to students of diverse ages and skill levels. They cover topics related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Create a Positive Learning Environment: Instructors strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement. They foster curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM subjects. Guide Student Learning Objectives: Stemtree instructors guide and support students in achieving their learning objectives. They provide personalized attention and help students grasp complex concepts. Assess Student Progress: Regularly assessing student progress is crucial. Instructors provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills. Maintain Classroom Safety and Organization: Instructors ensure a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to effective learning.

    Qualifications:

    Teaching Experience: Prior teaching or internship experience in Science, Biology, or Mathematics is valuable, however not necessary. Adaptability: Instructors must be comfortable teaching various age groups and employ unique methods. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Effective Classroom Management: Instructors manage and engage students effectively. Patience and Flexibility: Working with diverse student populations requires patience, flexibility, and adaptability. Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and organizational abilities are important. Reliable Transportation: Having reliable transportation is necessary. First-aid and CPR-certified, or willingness to obtain.

    Ability to meet the physical demands of the position: Physical demands can vary based on the specific role, age group, and individual needs of the students. Staying active, maintaining good posture, and practicing proper lifting techniques are essential for educators working with school-age children.
