    Arts Bonita seeks talented and passionate instructors in drama, film, songwriting, digital art, and other creative disciplines to join our dynamic team. With an exciting and ever-expanding lineup of programs, our instructors have the opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of students from diverse backgrounds.     Arts Bonita operates across two vibrant campuses, offering a growing School of the Arts that provides visual and performing arts programs for all ages and skill levels. From beginner to advanced, our classes, workshops, and masterclasses are designed to nurture creativity and skill development in a welcoming environment. With offerings in painting, ceramics, stone, glass, drama, dance, film, digital, and more, we engage students of every background and passion.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula

    Plan and lead classes, workshops, and events

    Provide constructive feedback and encourage students' creativity

    Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive environment

    Assess and evaluate student progress

    Collaborate with Arts Bonita leadership on budget and scheduling

    For youth classes, communicate with parents about student development and performances

    Perform administrative tasks as needed

    Coordinate with marketing to promote courses

    Build relationships with the greater community

    Lead the program into the future and help grow its recognition and impact

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)

    Professional experience as a working artist

    Prior teaching experience

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Patience and ability to work well with different youth age groups

    Creativity and enthusiasm for songwriting and music production

    Knowledge of various theater techniques and styles

    Ability to manage groups and maintain discipline

    Organizational and time management skills

    Adaptability and problem-solving abilities

    Possible background check clearance (standard for working with youth)
