Job Description

Instrumentation Scientists support our Downstream Processing area where they will:

• Monitor all AKTA AVANT instruments and ensure AKTAS are properly signed out by end user
• Restart of AKTA computers when needed
• Address any safety emergencies with instruments
• Ensure laboratory assets are in working order
• Provide training on instrumentation as needed
• Serve as coordinator for pH/conductivity meters
• Maintain SoloVPE instrumentation
• Assist in the relocation of equipment to other lab areas, assist in lab closures/openings as needed

This is a temporary role.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
• Experience working with chromatography systems and analytical instrumentation
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
