You will manage client communications, nurture important relationships, and keep track of policy details and documentation in a secured system. Responsibilities: • Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage • Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy • Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding • Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process all documentation reporting a claim on a current policy • Work with existing clients to review their current insurance coverage and recommend needed or missing insurance coverage to provide greater value and better protection. • Accept phone calls, walk-ins, and internet requests for new business. Identify how we can protect and serve them best first and then look for the right insurance product at the right price. Qualifications: • Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills • Applicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days • Jobseekers need to have basic computer skills and have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required, training will be provided if your talents are a good match • Must have strong time management skills. This is a fast-paced position and requires you to use your time effectively. Compensation: $23 - $32 hourly
