Responsibilities:
Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs.
Maintain a Book of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include calling warm leads and networking
Be able to take responsibility and keep track of your book of business
Attend networking evens and meet with potential referral partners (all are paid for by the agency)
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills
Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license
Outgoing personality and not afraid to talk with potential clients
