    The Applications and Illustrations Specialist is crucial in collecting and synthesizing client information to provide accurate insurance illustrations (quotes) and complete detailed insurance applications. This position requires teamwork and independent task management, focusing on detail orientation and proactive communication with clients and internal team members. Compensation: Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, Group Short Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k) with match Responsibilities: Illustration and Application Preparation • Work directly with leads to gather the necessary information for accurate and comprehensive illustrations for new clients and existing policy updates. • Collaborate with the scheduling coordinator to stay updated on changes to brokers’ schedules, ensuring timely and accurate quotes based on the most current information and timing. • Synthesize information provided by leads to produce multiple insurance illustrations across carrier software systems, showcasing a variety of options for prospective clients. • Proactively manage a queue of illustration requests, communicating with team members to avoid duplication and ensure efficiency. • Collaborating with fellow Applications and Illustrations team members to manage, organize, and facilitate the daily ad-hoc needs of our sales agents. • Collaborate with client coordinators to gather necessary client information for accurate application completion. • Accurately complete and submit insurance applications using client-provided information. • In collaboration with client services and policy update teams, prepare and submit adjustment, reinstatement, and benefit increase applications. • Use tools like Google Drive and Salesforce to manage workflows, organize tasks, and update application statuses. • Maintain meticulous records of client information and application progress. • Act as a knowledge resource for members of other teams regarding illustrations and applications, answering questions respectfully and enthusiastically to help increase the education of the company as a whole. Independence, Initiative, and Skillsets • Comfortable with email and phone communication with internal and external parties, including clients and insurance carriers. • Proficient with technology, not intimidated by learning new programs independently. • Excel training and proficiency are strongly preferred. • Ability to manage your schedule to complete tasks accurately and on time. • Exhibit a proactive approach by identifying priorities and notifying teammates of progress or potential issues. • Seek clarification or ask questions when needed to ensure accuracy and understanding. • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a diverse set of evolving daily tasks. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 2-5 years of professional experience in client services, insurance, financial services, or a related field. • Familiarity with the disability and life insurance industry is a plus, but it is not necessary. Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
