Responsibilities: • Field customer and colleague questions about account activity, status, and outstanding balances • Review client bills for accuracy and completeness and proactively obtain any missing payer information for inclusion • Prepare invoices, reconcile billing, compile reports and other documents using billing software, and field related questions from internal teams and customers • Work proactively to resolve and resubmit unpaid, rejected, or denied insurance claims • Issue refunds, transfer of responsibility, and adjustments, as needed, and update accounting records Qualifications: • Evidence of success meeting firm deadlines and proactively seeking results is necessary • Must have a basic understanding of financial fundamentals including accounting, billing, and collections processes • Experience using financial management software is required • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research to rectify collections, discrepancies, and denials • Accounts receivable, billing, data entry, and customer service experience is beneficial • Must live within daily driving distance of the office • Must have working rights in the USA • Accounts receivable management experience required, quickbooks a plus Compensation: $55,000 - $69,000 plus benefits
