Qualifications: Please note, that this is a sales position! • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding performance goals. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for establishing client relationships and effectively explaining complex insurance concepts. • Ability to actively listen to clients, understand their financial objectives, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. • Self-driven with a strong determination to achieve personal and professional goals, capable of working independently and staying motivated. • Proficiency in assessing client needs, evaluating potential risks, and providing customized solutions. • Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, and retirement planning is an asset, although comprehensive training will be provided. • Commitment to upholding industry regulations, safeguarding client confidentiality, and maintaining ethical practices. • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory. • Willingness to obtain a state Life & Health insurance license if not already licensed, with New York Life offering sponsorship and support for licensing. • Preferred: Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese to better connect with a diverse clientele. Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 yearly
