Monday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM
Tuesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Wednesday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Thursday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM
Friday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Saturday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Once a month)
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Insurance Coordinator:
Review and submit dental claims to insurance companies.
Review and analyze dental claims denied by insurance companies
Identify the reason(s) for denial and determine the appropriate course of action to appeal the denial.
Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve issues and ensure claims are paid.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims and appeals.
Investigate claims with no response to ensure claim was received by payer
Ensure billing and coding are correct prior to sending appeals or reconsiderations to insurance companies.
Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid or rejected claims.
Resolve issues and re-submit claims.
Prepare appeal letters for insurance carriers when not in agreement with a claim denial.
Identify denial reasons and notify the team to prevent future denials and further delay in payments.
Previous experience in dental insurance claims processing or related preferred
Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental practice management software
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Understanding of insurance policies and billing procedures
