Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills.
- Experience with case management, drafting pleadings, and handling motions and depositions.
- Admitted and in good standing in California (additional admissions in other states a plus).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex insurance coverage litigation and bad faith claims from inception to resolution, ensuring thorough and strategic case management at every stage.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses, with a focus on persuasive and comprehensive legal writing.
- Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses, parties, and other key stakeholders, and represent clients in court hearings and motion practice across both state and federal jurisdictions.
- Provide trial support and actively participate in trial preparation, including developing trial strategies, preparing witnesses, and assisting with trial presentations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to devise case strategies, conduct legal research, assess risk, and offer practical solutions to clients' complex insurance coverage issues.
- Communicate directly with clients, providing legal advice and updates on case developments, while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Stay current on emerging trends in insurance law and bad faith litigation, proactively integrating industry changes into case strategies and client guidance.

Benefits and Compensation:
Attorney compensation ranges from $125,000 to $220,000 annually, depending on experience, practice group, location, and other factors as permitted by law.
