Responsibilities: • Follow-up on client interactions in a thorough manner to ensure customer satisfaction • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved • Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given • Track current marketing activities, so you can appropriately respond to insurance-related inquiries with all of the resources at your disposal • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects • Research and resolve coverage questions • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records as well as our many different software programs • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed Qualifications: • You must have previous customer service experience for this position • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, communication skills, and active listening skills • Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred • You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken • This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator • Type quickly and accurately • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Organized, structured, and punctual, and will follow the rules • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest • Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment) • We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
