New York Life Insurance Manager plays a critical role in growing and guiding the organization through a blend of leadership, mentorship, and sales responsibilities. Their primary responsibilities typically include: • Identifying, hiring, and training new agents and financial professionals to build a successful sales team, fostering both individual and team growth. • Setting and driving sales targets, strategies, and goals while supporting agents in achieving individual and collective targets. • Providing ongoing mentorship, guidance, and development for agents, helping them build skills in client relationships, product knowledge, and ethical sales practices. • Monitoring team performance, conducting reviews, and offering constructive feedback to help team members grow and meet their goals. • Overseeing client relationships, ensuring quality service and satisfaction, and working with agents to address clients’ financial and insurance needs effectively. • Working closely with senior leadership to create and implement growth strategies, aligning team goals with the company’s objectives. • Ensuring that all agents adhere to regulatory and ethical standards, maintaining high-quality service, and protecting client confidentiality. • Identifying new markets or segments for expansion, as well as new client acquisition opportunities, and working with agents to establish a strong presence in those areas. • Representing New York Life at community events and networking opportunities, enhancing the firm’s reputation, and connecting with potential clients. Qualifications for this role often include: • Significant experience in insurance sales, financial advising, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in sales or management. • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, helping individuals achieve their professional goals while driving team success. • Strong sales background with expertise in developing sales strategies, setting and achieving targets, and driving revenue. • Experience in recruiting and training high-potential talent, preferably with a history of building successful teams in the insurance or financial services industry. • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and financial planning, including life insurance, annuities, retirement planning, and other investment products. • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and create effective strategies for team growth and market expansion. What we're looking for: • Sales or managerial experience. • MBA or other equivalent degree. • Active state Life & Health insurance license. Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
