  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This role primarily supports the PartnerRe Health Team in the United States and the compliance operations of our New York and Delaware property and casualty insurers, which are both authorized to transact business on a nationwide basis.

    You will work on regulatory compliance matters related to PartnerRe’s Accident & Health Business including producer appointment support, regulatory filings, state regulator inquiries, and cyber security compliance initiatives. In addition, this position will support overall regulatory compliance activities in North America.

    About the role:

    • Support the PartnerRe Health producer appointment cycle
    • Support Cyber Security Regulation implementation and maintenance
    • Facilitate compliance training on HIPAA, Claims Settlement and Fraud, and other topics required by regulation.
    • Provide support for the regulatory compliance needs of PartnerRe North America working as a part of the Compliance Team for the following activities:
      • Regulatory filings including data calls, financial statement filings and premium tax filings
      • Company license renewals
      • Biographical affidavits
    • Perform other related duties, including short- or long-term projects, as assigned

    • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Flexible and open to an ever changing, fast paced environment
    • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to multitask.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrate excellent judgment and discretion required to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures.

    About you:

    • Bachelors/Associates degree and 3+ years of equivalent work experience
    • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects of insurance/reinsurance industry
    • Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations.
    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Word and Excel

    $73,600-$73,600 per year
