What does a Reconstruction Manager with Paul Davis do?
Reconstruction Managers work with property owners and insurance adjusters after events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial properties. As a Reconstruction Manager, you will supervise the renovation including all the subcontractors, as well as manage costs with the insurance provider. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects including managing client & insurance adjuster expectations
· Ensure an accurate scope for projects and prepare estimates utilizing estimating software
· Build relationships with insurance professionals and customers (both direct and B2B);
· Ensure high quality work by effectively managing subcontractors and vendors
· Maintain written communication with vendors, customers, insurance representatives and team members
Qualifications (Requirements):
· Hungry and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
· At least one year in construction industry
· Strong attention to details, time management, problem solving, and project management skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to management multiple jobs and crews at one time
· Proficiency with current mobile and computing technology, and ability to learn new software
· Efficiently manage and maintain job management software, ensuring it is consistently up to date
· Clean driving record and a reliable car
· Estimating software experience is a plus
Prior experience as a restoration project manager, construction project manager, estimator, or insurance adjuster are strong pluses (but must be willing to learn a new process). Industry certifications or licenses (such as IICRC, Lead, Mold, etc.) are also strongly preferred. If you have limited experience but you meet all the qualifications, we will invest in your training!
Compensation and Benefits:
· Highly competitive compensation structure, with base salary plus uncapped commissions based on projects completed. Our current Construction Manager's yearly total compensations range from $50k (base salary before any commission, paid weekly) to >$200k depending on production. Candidates with significant prior experience as restoration project managers may qualify to start immediately as Senior Construction Manager at a higher base salary. Regardless of seniority, there is no limit to earning potential! We believe in meritocracy and rewarding high performers!
